Puppy Has Best First Week of Work Ever
Pugsly, a dog from Redmond, WA, recently completed his first week at his new job as a QA tester for the Windows division at Microsoft last week. How was it?
“The best!” reports roommate Willard Franco. “Between the numerous cafe and restaurant options, the on-site organic spa, the Xbox-equipped lounges, the frisbee and soccer fields, the wifi everywhere, and the flexible schedule, he was on cloud nine.”
Pugsly also apparently joined photography and archery clubs during his first week, took care of his dry cleaning, and spent some time in the on-campus gym.
“It really sounds like summer camp,” said Franco. “But I guess he got a lot of work done, too.”
The best part, though, says Franco, is that the building Puglsy works in is dog-friendly.
“It could have been awkward, otherwise.”

Wearable robots that can help paralyzed people walk will be a ‘godsend’When Michael Gore stands, it’s a triumph of science and engineering. Eleven years ago, Gore was paralyzed from the waist down in a workplace accident, yet he rises from his wheelchair to his full 6-foot-2 and walks across the room with help from a lightweight wearable robot.
The technology has many nicknames. Besides “wearable robot,” the inventions also are called “electronic legs” or “powered exoskeletons.” This version, called Indego, is among several competing products being used and tested in U.S. rehab hospitals that hold promise not only for people such as Gore with spinal injuries, but also those recovering from strokes or afflicted with multiple sclerosis and cerebral palsy.

Notorious Puppy Gang Finally Behind Bars
After an epic crime spree that spanned two months and three states, the puppy gang known as Wolf Pact has been apprehended in Texas, according to authorities there. Sources on the ground say the Pact was holed up in a shed after stealing the slippers of area resident Margaret Mallone.
“I had never heard of this gang,” Mallone tells The Fluffington Post in an exclusive interview. “Then I happened to turn on the news and saw my own backyard on TV. There were police everywhere. That’s when I noticed my slippers were missing.”
Authorities apprehended the trio without incident after receiving an anonymous tip from a neighbor.
“The standoff lasted about an hour,” says sheriff’s deputy John Beck. “At first, they weren’t cooperating, but then officer Sanders shook a bag of treats. They caved pretty soon after that and we scooped them up.”
The Wolf Pact, consisting of Rex (the presumed ringleader), Tango and Clyde, was wanted for a string of similar alleged crimes, including sock chewing and flagrant urination. They will be arraigned individually in Federal court on May 14th, according to officials.
